The Keyboarding requirement was here when I arrived in 1981. In the late 80s Brad Sargent included computer classes as fulfilling the keyboard requirement. In 1996 I requested- since keyboarding was no longer being taught I requested the requirement be changed to a computer technology requirement. The result was the requirement was dropped altogether 98-99.
I think it was between 1996 and 1998 that the Arts requirement came into play. A computer technology requirement came into play 05-06 stating that beginning with the graduating class of 2009 student would have to take a course which met the computer technology requirement.
